Specific use: “Hunsrückbahn” railway line tunnel portals cleaned with DYNAJET 500th
A DYNAJET 500th with WSS 500 sandblasting attachment – using garnet sand as the blasting medium – was tested then selected to renovate listed tunnel portals on the Hunsrück railway line. The “Talberg Tunnel” and “Kalmut Tunnel” sandstone tunnel portals were cleared of grime as well as lime and mineral deposits.
The railway line is in use during the day, meaning the work could only be carried out at night. The 500th’s fast set-up time and its large integrated water tank meant Baresel Tunnelbau GmbH, who were commissioned for the cleaning work, could complete their work quickly and flexibly.
