DYNAJET is supporting the restoration of Notre-Dame

Significant damage was caused by the fire at Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral on 15 and 16 April 2019. Not only were parts of the Cathedral destroyed, but soot and fire debris also took a heavy toll on the surrounding area.
 
The layer of soot is particularly dangerous, because it can attack and destroy many underlying surfaces in just a short time. DYNAJET partner RDV France provided a DYNAJET high-pressure cleaner for the gentle and rapid removal of the soot layer on the square in front of the building.

Using a DYNAJET 500th trailer and the DFS surface-cleaning system, the soot is being removed from the ground quickly and virtually residue-free at a working pressure of up to 500 bar (7,250 PSI). An important role is played by the hot-water function, as the stubborn soot cannot be removed adequately with cold water. A special device is being deployed to suction the water that has been used for cleaning.
