Nozzle types

Spot-jet nozzles

A spot-jet nozzle produces a round jet of water, the energy remains concentrated and, in the case of the spot-jet nozzle, impacts a small surface.

Flat jet nozzles

The flat jet nozzle is suitable for cleaning larger areas. It is also kinder to rougher surfaces than a spot-jet nozzle.

Rotor nozzles

Rotor nozzles are a type of spot-jet nozzle with a rotating jet covering a wider area. With these simply constructed, rotating nozzles, a rotor moves in the head through the water power. In the more advanced models, the entire nozzle head rotates, which is then equipped with 4 or 6 nozzles.

Chewing gum nozzle – poly nozzle

The poly nozzle, also called chewing gum nozzle, is a multi-jet nozzle with stainless steel housing and integrated metal filter. It is ideal for removing chewing gum.

Nozzle exit angle and working pressure

As well as the nozzle shape, both the ideal jet angle – 5/15/30 degrees – and working pressure required are important considerations.

The higher the exit angle and the lower the working pressure, the lighter the jet.
The smaller the jet angle and the higher the working pressure, the stronger the jet.
