The hose safety strap, also known as the pull-out protection, protects the high-pressure cleaner operator from danger if a hose breaks off at the connection points.

From which pressure class does safety gear need to be used?

A safety strap is mandatory for industrial high-pressure cleaners according to DIN EN 1829-2

  • for high-pressure cleaning units with a power consumption of the pressure generator of more than 40 kilowatts or a maximum permissible operating pressure of more than 500 bar.
  • if there are persons at the place of use – normally the case for equipment with hand-held high-pressure cleaners.

This means that with the DYNAJET 500th (34kW, 500bar) a safety strap is not absolutely necessary, whereas with the DYNAJET 800th (34kW, 800bar) there must be a safety strap. This is also mandatory for the DYNAJET models 800me, 1000me and the UHP series.

We at DYNAJET consider safety to be particularly important so we recommend working with a hose safety strap from a working pressure of 500 bar. Of course, we have such a hose safety strap in stock. The robust hose safely strap can be used universally and secures hoses to other hoses, to machines or to tools simply and safely.
