Please follow these instructions carefully when driving and parking your DYNAJET trailer. They cover optimum drawbar load, height of the trailer coupling and correct support.

Correct drawbar load and the correct height of the trailer coupling

The drawbar load is the weight with which a trailer rests on the trailer coupling. The optimum and permissible drawbar load – usually between 25 and 100 kg – is specified in the operating instructions, on the coupling head and in the vehicle registration document.

Distribute extra loads as well as the fill levels in the water and fuel tanks of your DYNAJET trailer as evenly as possible so that the drawbar load does not exceed the specified guide value. If a drawbar load is too high or too low, road holding will be affected and could even cause you to lose control of the vehicle. Maximise the drawbar load as far as possible. This will improve the handling of the vehicle combination.
The height of the trailer coupling is not so critical with our single-axle chassis, such as the DYNAJET 350th or DYNAJET 500th.

The situation is different for high-pressure units with a tandem axle, such as the DYNAJET UHP, where the height of the ball head is significant. On some vehicles this can be adjusted to different heights. If this is not the case, the load must be redistributed to achieve the optimum drawbar load. This could be done, for instance, by changing the levels in the water and fuel tanks or by relocating the accessories on the towing vehicle. You can easily check the current drawbar load using standard personal weighing scales and a piece of wood between the coupling and the scale.

Correctly supporting the DYNAJET th models

None of the DYNAJET th models need supports. Do not use the support wheel to lift the machine, as it is not designed for this purpose. Lifting the machine with the support wheel crank may cause damage. It is sufficient to mount the support on one side of the rear to stabilise the machine and prevent it from tipping over. This saves you time-consuming set-up and prevents incurring unnecessary costs caused by improperly supporting your high-pressure cleaner.
